Minskintercaps U.V. launches the production of a new drug Indapril Bioforter in capsules. Indapril Bioforte is a combination drug containing Perindopril (ADP inhibitor) and Indapamide (sulphonamide group diuretic).
Pharmacological activity of the drug is conditioned by the combination of each ingredient properties, enhancing each other. The drug is of hypotension effect.
Once capsule of Indapril Bioforte contains Perindopril tret-butyl salt 8.0 mg (equal to Perindopril 6.7 mg), Indapamide 2.5 mg.
Indapril Bioforte is dose-dependent hypotension drug to effect systolic and diastolic arterial pressure irrespective of the age and the position of the body.
The effect persists 24 h. Stable clinical effect is manifested less than in 1 month from the beginning of the therapy and is does not provoke tachycardia.
Indapril Bioforte decreases the hypertrophy of the left ventricle, improves artery elasticity, decreases total peripheral vascular resistance, does not effect lipidic metabolism (total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein, low-density lipoprotein, Triglycerol) and does not effect carbohydrate metabolism (also patients with diabetes mellitus).
Indapril Bioforte is administered as substitution therapy for primary hypertension in patients whose pressure is controlled by combination therapy and administration of Perindopril and Indapamide equal doses.
Indapril Bioforte is administered perorally preferably in the morning before meal, 1 capsule daily.
